Information About the Workshop Series
All of us know, as Christians, that we are called by Christ to pray…even to pray without ceasing. Most of us want to pray, and to pray well, to be people of prayer. At the same time, we don’t know where to begin. Outside of Mass and formal devotional prayer, how do I pray? How do I quiet my heart and my mind? How do I discern God’s will in my life—the big things and the day-to-day things? How do I fast well? Do I have unique gifts (charisms) that God wants me to use? How do I move away from sin and towards God in all areas of my life? How do I live in the freedom Christ promises?
These are just a few questions to begin with. In these workshops we hope to engage our interior life to grow in communion with Christ through formation and experiential practice of daily prayer.
