As they did last Christmas Eve, the friars are again hosting a Live Nativity Show just prior to their final Las Posadas 2009 event!


On December 24th, the live nativity scene will be set up by 4:00 PM outside San Felipe de Neri Church (2005 North Plaza St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104-1465; 505-243-4628) in Old Town Albuquerque. 

The actual Live Nativity Show will take place around 6:15 PM, directly after the 5:00 PM Mass at San Felipe de Neri Church.

The final Las Posadas event will occur directly after the Live Nativity Show.

All are welcome to attend! Come help us celebrate the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ!


NOTE: The Friends of the Friars will have a table where religious books, Friends of the Friars sweatshirts and t-shirts, and other CFR-related and holy items will be available for sale. The friars will also be present to welcome and visit with people.

Volunteers are needed, especially to staff the Friends of the Friars table. Please call Fr. Joseph at the friary (505-764-3034) for more information and/or to volunteer.
